Hear what one of our Hardware Engineers thinks

I was first introduced to Megger when I won the ‘Megger Most Outstanding Instrumentation Project’
prize at University of Kent. Following my degree, I joined Megger on a graduate programme in
September 2017 and secured a role within the Continuous Improvement team.
I found the graduate programme really beneficial as I was able to shadow other departments, which
allowed me to learn about the business and the wider-context of engineering at Megger. I worked
on a wide-range of existing products - a steep but very enjoyable learning curve! I also became a
STEM ambassador and enjoy representing Megger, promoting engineering, and supporting student
and graduate engineers with their early career development.
“I was able to shadow other departments, which allowed me to learn about the business and the wider-context of engineering at Megger”
I was promoted to Hardware Engineer within the New Product Development team. This involves
design and test of analogue and digital hardware solutions for new products. Megger has fully
supported my career development along the way, including full membership and professional
registration with the IET and one-to-one coaching sessions.
I have recently been selected for the High Potential Leadership Programme, which is an excellent
opportunity for personal development. This will really support my future career ambitions in
leadership and management at Megger.
