The largest gathering of public power utilities in the Northwest, the Engineering & Operations Conference and Trade Show is set to take place in Reno, Nevada, April 4-6, 2023, with a theme of The Next Frontier of Public Power. The electric utility industry is molded daily through innovation, necessity, and both internal and external challenges. Therefore, the 2023 E&O will provide the learning and networking opportunities needed to keep employees in the public power industry at the cutting edge.

Learning. The 2023 E&O is an excellent opportunity to gather and discuss best practices, products, and tools that help you and your peers address the continuing challenges of running an electric utility. The three days of the E&O will present multiple opportunities to learn and share. On Tuesday morning, you can share ideas, challenges, and solutions at the roundtable discussions on engineering, operations, or supply chain. Not sure which to attend? Afterwards, you won’t want to miss the keynote address by Jake Wood, a Marine veteran and founder of Team Rubicon, the fastest growing disaster response organization in the world. Woods keynote promises to be a compelling exploration of leadership and organizational culture. Throughout the event, you will also be able to choose between more than 24 breakout sessions taught by utility industry subject matter experts.

Networking. As the energy industry constantly changes, it is essential to establish relationships and build valuable connections with colleagues. At the 2023 E&O, you will be able to reconnect with colleagues and make new connections. The conference also provides the opportunity to celebrate safety and career achievements at the awards banquet on Thursday evening.
