Utilities spend hundreds and some billions of dollars a year on vegetation management programs, which in most part are still based on a three-year maintenance schedule. With the use of intelligent grid sensors, utilities can reduce these costs by up to 20%. These intelligent grid sensors can detect power line disturbances, or PLD’s indicating vegetation encroachment on overhead distribution lines. Join us to find out more about how you can move away from reactive maintenance and save millions of dollars per year by becoming proactive with your vegetation management program.
